The weighers take bulk products and weigh them into smaller increments according to weights programmed into its software. The system has various options and software settings adjusted for product and fill weight. Our multi-head weighers have two governing design features: the number of weighing heads and the sizes of the weigh buckets. We use these two governing features to determine the best configuration to keep your operations running smoothly.

How To Clean Your OHLSON Brand Multi-Head Weigher 

You will need a 10-millimeter socket and a 10-millimeter wrench to disassemble your multi-head weigher. Watch our equipment experts easily dismantle and clean a weigher or read the step-by-step instructions below.

Step 1: Using your socket wrench, unscrew the bolts to remove the top cone. 

Step 2: Unscrew the infeed funnel and remove it from the frame. 

Step 3: Remove the feed buckets, unclip the feeder pans, and remove the weigh buckets from the scale. 

Step 4: Remove the collating chute sections, and unbolt and remove the collating funnel. 

Step 5 (optional): Organize the disassembled parts on a C.O.P. rack.

Step 6: Clean the parts and reassemble the machine.

Step 1: Open the access doors and remove the individual buckets.

Step 2: Press the inching button to advance.

Step 3: Remove any remaining buckets and clean them.

Step 4: Return the parts to the system when they are clean and dry.
